Besides the contribution of our company to the national economy, our company plays an important role in the welfare of the approximately direct 500 employees, their families and the communities in which they live. Our labour policies and practices ensure a hygienic and safe working environment, following several international standards.

All our employees are guaranteed safe working conditions. Strict adherence to our labour and social programs and policies is monitored by the “Ministerio de Relaciones Laborales” in Ecuador.

In our larger plantation, we even provide housing programmes for our senior employees, with free all-day meal services, and free water and electricity bills. In addition, the family of our employees also benefit from these programmes.

The communities surrounding our facilities also benefit from the several community involvement and charitable programs the company and its employees fund and support through volunteerism.

These programs are designed to improve the quality of life and provide the tools and knowledge to sustain healthy and productive communities.
